I deserved to be crucified for the blood that stained my whole life and the crimes I’ve committed and the evil I had done. Like that one thief on the cross next to Jesus who found grace in God’s eyes, God remembered me too, and now I am trying to live my life as an instrument of God’s mercy to men who are as I used to be—murderers, thieves, and organized gangsters.

Criminal History at its most Raw written form...from the heart

This book was an amazing tale of real life events that went down behind prison walls. I could not put it down ...chapter after chapter I became more engrossed by the minute! If you are a fan of criminal history ....this book is for you. It is written well...easy to read ...and is a book I would read again and again.

The good, the bad and the ugly - Awesome job Sundown!

Is a very raw, true story of a man's life journey. The author lays it all out there, nothing held back - the good, the bad and the ugly. I commend him on his bravery of putting it all out on his sleeves for the world to read. Definitely recommend this book to all those who enjoy true crime stories, those who are simply curious about the La Nuestra Familia, or those that are simply curious about survival in the prison world and the violence and the loneliness that comes with that life. Great read!!

True view of prison life and how it affects people, was a real eye opener.

WOW! Loved this book. One of the best books I have ever read. It was so good I will read it again and again. Ever page was great. Didn't want to put it down. Lets you believe everyone deserves a second chance. True view of prison life and how it affects people, was a real eye opener. The author was so great makes you feel as if you know the people he writes about. A movie producer should pick this up. This would make a fascinating movie! God bless your beautiful family, may you find peace and happiness.
